Fort Worth police said they arrested an individual in connection to a Thursday road rage fatal shooting.
Police said officers were dispatched to a shooting call near 3600 NE 28th Street at around 8:39 a.m., according to a Thursday afternoon news release. At the scene, they said they found a man with a gunshot wound to his upper body. He later died at a local hospital, according to police.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him as 45-year-old Jason Michael White.
Police said a witness who was travelling with White told investigators that they were involved in a road rage incident with another driver.

That person then allegedly pulled up besides White’s vehicle and fired multiple shots at it, before fleeing the scene.
Police said officers stopped the suspect’s vehicle a short time later and arrested the individual following further investigation. Police didn’t identify the alleged shooter in the news release.
