HIGHLAND PARK, IL — Voters in Highland Park and Moraine Township are weighing in on a pair of referendum questions that could expand eligibility for elected office and establish a new mental health board, though only one the referendums on the Nov. 5 ballot is binding.
Moraine Township includes most of Highland Park, all of Highwood and portions of Deerfield and Lake Forest. Township voters will decide on a proposition to establish a community mental health board, which would be made up of volunteers appointed by the township supervisor.
