GAMBRILLS, MD — The Fresh Market, a new grocery store, is now open in Gambrills.
The supermarket celebrated its grand opening on Oct. 30 in the Crofton Station shopping center. This is the second Fresh Market in Anne Arundel County and the fifth in Maryland. The other locations are in Annapolis, Baltimore, Rockville and Towson.
The Fresh Market partially fills the vacancy left by Giant Food, which moved across the street in January 2023. Crofton Station has undergone some changes since Giant relocated.
Other new businesses that opened since Giant left include Chase Bank, Nekter Juice Bar, Taichi Bubble Tea, Sugaring NYC and Amazing Lash Studio.
