Health & Fitness Inaugural GBN Health Fair Intends To Improve Physical Literacy The physical education department at the Northbrook school is aiming to connect students with local health and wellness companies.
The fair will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 20 at Glenbrook North. (Northfield Township High School District 225)
NORTHBROOK, IL — At Glenbrook North, the physical education department prioritizes the health of students through physical literacy. The four main tenets of this philosophy are: motivation and confidence, physical competence, knowledge and understanding, and engagement in physical activities for life.
With these goals, the educators will be hosting the inaugural health fair at the school from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 20. At the fair, students will have an opportunity to connect with health and wellness companies, which organizers say offer a
