NIC Booster Club purchases $45,000 worth of strength equipment

The North Idaho College Booster Club purchased $45,000 worth of state-of-the-art strength and conditioning equipment for NIC student-athletes.
The equipment will be housed in the Student-Athlete Strength and Conditioning Room, located in the Student Wellness and Recreation Center at NIC.
The new equipment, which includes a variety of free weights, resistance machines, and functional training tools, will be used to support the college’s athletic programs and provide athletes with the facilities to train safely and effectively, NIC said.
“We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from the NIC Booster Club,” NIC athletic director Shawn Noel said. “This new equipment will have a lasting impact on our student-athletes, helping them achieve their fitness and training goals. It will not only aid in developing strength and agility but also improve overall athletic performance, giving our teams the tools they need to excel in competition.”
When not being utilized by NIC athletic teams, the new equipment will be available for all members of the Student Wellness and Recreation Center to use. NIC says it is committed to providing top-tier training facilities for all students, whether they are pursuing athletic opportunities or seeking to improve their overall health and fitness.
“We are proud to support the success of our student-athletes and the overall wellness of our campus community,” NIC Booster Club president Doug Miller said. “This new equipment is a reflection of our dedication to fostering a strong and healthy environment for all students at North Idaho College. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this equipment will have on the athletes and our campus as a whole.”
