BROOKLYN, NY — A leading pediatric mental health company recently opened its first clinic in Brooklyn.
Brightline’s opened its first in-person clinic at 32 Court St. last Monday, according to officials. The new clinic lets families receive flexible, family-centered healthcare wherever they are – in-person, virtually, or both through Brightline’s hybrid model.
Brightline’s Brooklyn clinic launch is the first of several planned clinics in New York, officials told Patch. The move to hybrid allows for expanded treatment options and increased affordability, as Brightline partners with insurance providers to offer services in-network.
“I started Brightline based on my own experiences, and difficulties, accessing care for my own child, and we’re expanding Brightline to ensure that other families can access the care they need for their children, in whatever manner works best for them, virtually, in-person, or both,” Brightline Co-founder and CEO Naomi Allen told Patch. “With years of evidence-based care and promising outcomes backing our expansion to hybrid care, the move also lets us offer more specialty care for higher-acuity mental health needs while helping to drive down the cost of care through insurance partnerships. Our research shows us that parents want to receive care that’s local to them and that’s covered by their insurance, which we’re doing with clinically sound, outcomes-driven programs.” Brightline clinics will bring together a team of pediatric therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists experienced in a full spectrum of behavioral and mental health needs. Services include:
● Comprehensive in-person psychological testing for autism, learning disorders, executive functioning, school readiness, giftedness, and more. ● Children with more common, generalized concerns, including depression and trauma, can receive therapy, psychiatry, and medication management as needed.
