BOHEMIA, NY — After nearly 100 cats–both dead and alive needing medical help–were removed from a Long Island home last week, the Suffolk SPCA is fundraising to cover the cost of life-saving medical services.
SPCA Chief Roy Gross said that during the rescue operation at a Bohemia home on Thursday, his team found 28 deceased cats and 69 alive, including many requiring bottle feeding and medical help.
In just four days since the rescue, the numbers have grown after a white cat with black patches
