A driver died early Sunday after his pickup truck crashed into a tree and parked vehicle in Santa Rosa, though authorities say his cause of death is unclear.
Santa Rosa police responded about 5:30 a.m. to the collision on West 8th Street near Warren Lane in northwest Santa Rosa, Sgt. Tanya Potter said.
The driver, who was the only occupant in the truck, was pronounced dead at the scene, Potter said. The Sonoma County coroner will identify him after his family is notified.
Potter said its unclear if the driver died due to the crash or a medical emergency.
