Pre-trial hearing for Lindsay Clancy today to focus on Duxbury mom’s medical records

There’s a pre-trial hearing scheduled Wednesday for Lindsay Clancy, the woman accused of killing her three young children at their home in Duxbury, Massachusetts, back in 2023.
The judge in the case is expected to take a closer look at Clancy’s medical history during the virtual hearing at the courthouse in Plymouth. This includes psych evaluations and doctors opinions of those records. Clancy is expected to appear at Wednesday’s hearing via Zoom.
We’re about six months away from the start of her murder trial on Monday, July 20, after it was postponed multiple times. Clancy’s attorney filed a notice last month that they plan to pursue the insanity defense for the 35-year-old.
Clancy has pleaded not guilty to murder charges brought by the Plymouth District Attorney’s Office over the Jan. 24, 2023, deaths of her children, 5-year-old Cora Clancy, 3-year-old Dawson Clancy, and 8-month-old Callan Clancy.
Prosecutors allege Clancy killed her three children by strangling them with exercise bands after sending her husband to get takeout food from a far away restaurant. Following the attacks, officials allege Clancy cut her wrists and neck before jumping from a second-story window in an attempt to end her own life.

Clancy remains confined to a wheel chair and she’s under constant supervision at Tewksbury Hospital, where she is receiving mental health treatment. Attorneys will also discuss Wednesday how Clancy will be transported to and from her trial.
The 11 a.m. hearing will be livestreamed in the video player atop this story.
