Career fair scheduled
Job seekers are invited to attend the PA CareerLink Centre County Fall Career Fair from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 22 at C3 Sports, 200 Ellis Place, State College.
The event will bring together more than 60 employers from across the region, offering a variety of job opportunities, including full-time, part-time, seasonal, remote and hybrid roles, ranging from entry-level to experienced positions.
Pre-registration is encouraged and can be completed at https://bit.ly/42uuhNJ. There is no cost for this event, and it is open to the public. Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resume and interview-ready attire.

Behavioral health care provider Pyramid Healthcare Inc. has announced a dynamic partnership with Penn State University wrestling.
This collaboration unites two organizations with deep roots in Pennsylvania and shared values of fostering mental strength, resilience and community well-being.
OOT sets landlord workshop
Operation Our Town, in partnership with the Altoona Housing Authority, will be holding their annual Landlord Educational Workshop from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Altoona Grand Hotel, 1 Sheraton Drive.
The workshop is free to attend and lunch will be included.
Vendor tables will be set up in the back of the room for attendees to visit during lunch for more information and resources.
