CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) – In an information meeting Monday, the Chippewa Valley Health Cooperative is evaluating if it’s possible to reopen HSHS St. Joseph’s as a bridge to the new hospital opening in Fall 2027.
They signed a letter of intent to buy HSHS last week and they have until April to see if it’s financially feasible to do so.
They hope to be open by Fall 2025 and reopen the morgue.
While this is not a for sure plan, they have announced their intention to do it.
