MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio
Theft: Engle Road
The ashes of a deceased child were reported stolen from a storage unit at CubeSmart Self Storage, 6801 Engle.
Someone had cut the lock to the storage unit.
Also stolen were two coats, a nail gun, several toys, a suitcase containing clothes and prescription medication.
Disturbance: Pearl Road
Police were called to Crunch Fitness, 6849 Pearl, at about 9:30 p.m. Oct. 23 regarding two male suspects fighting each other in the gym.
Before police arrived, employees at the workout center asked the suspects to leave, but they refused to do so.
One of them threatened an employee.
Police turned at least one of the suspects over to his mother.
They referred the incident to a prosecutor for possible charges.
Disturbance, arrest warrant served: Bagley Road
A wanted Cleveland man, 41, was arrested at about 10:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at Red Roof Inn, 17555 Bagley.
A Red Roof Inn worker called police and said that the man, who was apparently raising a ruckus, had refused to leave the hotel when asked.
When police arrived, they learned that the man was wanted in Solon. He was turned over to Solon police.
Arrest warrant served: Engle Road
A wanted Cleveland woman, 56, was arrested at about 10 p.m. Oct. 27 on Engle.
The woman was a passenger in a Chrysler Town & Country. Police had pulled over the vehicle after it traveled across three lanes without signaling while exiting Speedway, 17650 Bagley.
The vehicle then turned onto Engle.
Parma police had issued several warrants for the woman’s arrest.
