DHS issues health advisory for French Island residents

TOWN OF CAMPBELL, Wis. (TOWN OF CAMPBELL PRESS RELEASE) – The Wisconsin State Department of Health issued a French Island wide health advisory for residents using private wells in Spring of 2021 due to potential PFAS contamination.
All Campbell residents are eligible for a safe interim alternate drinking water source through the Department of Natural Resources.
The Town of Campbell is reminding residents, including those south of Walnut (near the recent Omaha tie fire) that they can apply for water online at this site

Residents are encouraged to use a safe alternative water source as the La Crosse County, the DNR, DHS continue to investigate any possible health related concerns due to the fire.
