Erin Andrew’s’ Exotic Medical Treatment Backfires As FOX Reporter Confirmed Complications With Cancer Screening

Erin Andrews has been spilling the tea about everything lately, and fans are like, Girl, we get it! From her eye problems to various health hiccups, our favorite sportscaster has been keeping it with her followers. But this time? Her latest confession about medical treatments has got everyone talking — and not in a good way.
This Monday, the Calm Down podcast dropped a reel on Instagram where Erin opened up about her experience with micro-needling. She said, “I did micro-needling. I did it before I saw you a couple of weeks ago. I am not a fan.” Charissa Thompson was curious and asked her why she felt that way, and Erin didn’t hold back.
She shared, “It gave me a freaking itchy rash. And I think it really wasn’t great for my skin. I don’t love it. I got excited, and even did the salmon sperm with the microneedling. Didn’t like it; I’m never gonna do it again.” Ouch! That’s rough when you try something for beauty, and it backfires. Charissa snapped back: “Can’t say salmon sperm & rash in the same sentence.” But seriously, what was the deal with Erin’s eyebrows that made microneedling so important for her?

Let’s clarify—microneedling isn’t just a tattoo; it’s a treatment to enhance your eyebrows. Erin Andrews has spent years struggling with her brows. Indeed, she admitted her frustration about a year ago.
The 46-year-old Fox Sports commentator opened up on her podcast Calm Down with Erin and Charissa, co-hosted with Charissa Thompson. On their Thursday, Nov. 14 episode, Thompson read a listener’s question: “Can I know where Erin gets her eyebrows done?” Erin quickly snapped, “Oh my god, enough! I got them done probably a month and a half ago, and people are still talking about them,” Erin said. So, did Charissa suggest any solution?
“I’m using a serum; some people say they look buzzed. I’m not trying to make them that way—I just like bushy eyebrows. They look great. This is a positive,” Thompson replied and added, “You’re being crazy right now… they look fantastic.”
Erin’s brows have been a recurring topic on the podcast. Back in January, she shared her skincare routine, noting she stopped waxing and wanted them thicker. “I haven’t waxed in forever. It feels like they stopped growing, which is scary—one of my girlfriends even mentioned going gray and losing hers. I was like, ‘This happens?’ So I’ve been using a serum to try to grow them back.”
After all the eyebrow drama, she may have considered microneedling—but that didn’t go as planned. Still, those woes pale in comparison to the shock she later received during her cancer screening—buckle up for this unexpected ride!
Understanding cancer screening: Insights from Erin Andrews
NFL sideline reporter Erin Andrews recently opened up about a health scare during the 2024 season involving a cancer screening. She shared, “I recently had a cancer screening. I went to my dermatologist for a body scan and had a few spots burned off. It wasn’t fun, but I’m glad I did it.” The experience was a wake-up call, teaching her the importance of self-care in her late 40s.
“SPF, SPF, SPF is going to be my new best friend—especially when I’m on the football field for four to five hours a day,” Andrews said. Now feeling great, she’s enjoying the offseason before returning to the sidelines next season.

Before the 2025 season, Erin Andrews made a small change to her look. On her podcast, Calm Down with Erin and Charissa, co-host Charissa Thompson noticed Erin was wearing glasses.

“Hey, I love this new look! I’m so jealous you get to wear glasses now—I miss wearing mine. You look fantastic,” Thompson said, adding, “Be prepared for how many compliments you’re going to get. It’s like a whole thing.” As for Andrews’s husband, Jarret Stoll, she didn’t reveal exactly how he felt about the new look—but let’s just say he didn’t seem too impressed.
However, seems like Erin doesn’t need her husband’s opinion on everything. She’s confident, independent, and calls her own shots, indeed.
