The cheerleader had her first bald performance this season on Monday’s game against the Bengals.
This confident move was shared by the DC cheerleaders on Instagram as they captioned, “Confidence takes center stage for Alopecia Awareness.” Without a doubt. Her performance is getting all kinds of love! Even Andrews chimed and showed her gratitude, writing, “This is AWESOME 😢!” A simple yet heartfelt way of expressing her admiration for Latimer’s courage. It’s clear that the sportscaster has recognized just how significant this awareness is, not just for the dancer, but for anyone struggling with alopecia.

The cheerleader was earlier in the limelight, revealing her struggles with the major hair loss illness on the Cheerleaders’ Netflix show America’s Sweethearts. One might think that the autoimmune disease would let her down, but the dancer is way stronger than that. And now, she is receiving immense praise and respect for her bold move as she’s out there to spread awareness for alopecia.
With so many people struggling with alopecia that causes hair loss, Armani’s awareness campaign could really make a difference. The cheerleader started her campaign as part of her “My cause, my boots,” showcasing her confidence and strength.
Armani’s main goal with this awareness is to ensure no one feels discouraged or down about themselves. Considering the alopecia numbers are rising not just in the US, but globally as well, she remarked, “I would rather speak out to bring awareness to this condition than allow people to think negatively about themselves.”
