Jillian Michaels, celebrity fitness trainer and nutritionist, rejoiced President-elect Donald Trump‘s announcement to nominate former 2024 presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be the next health and human services secretary.
“Thank you @realDonaldTrump for being a man of your word. This could NOT have been easy to accomplish. I’m very, very grateful,” Michaels wrote on X in response to Trump’s announcement.
Oh. My. F*ing. God. 🙌🇺🇸 thank you @realDonaldTrump for being a man of your word. This could NOT have been easy to accomplish. I’m very very grateful. https://t.co/yM8xzsmkDN — Jillian Michaels (@JillianMichaels) November 14, 2024
The Keeping It Real podcast host has been openly advocating Kennedy to be head of HHS.
Like Kennedy, she has been a longtime skeptic of the messaging of the food industry and pharmaceutical business pushing unhealthy products on Americans.
Then can you officially give him the role please. Head of HHS would be great 🙏 ASAP https://t.co/DbosAGpNgX — Jillian Michaels (@JillianMichaels) November 13, 2024
Michaels admits that she was previously a health ambassador for the Clinton Global Initiative but has been evolving in her political views.
The former Biggest Loser trainer, who has been a longtime Democrat, said on Fox News’s Hannity Wednesday night that she voted for Trump.
“I do agree that the Left has gone completely bananas,” Michael said. “But what we have to do in my opinion to help calm them down, because as much as I wanted tell you that they are insane, they are crazy, I don’t think it gets us anywhere.”
She added that we need to appeal to Trump opponents and address the “unhinged” left-wing media narrative.
“I think the strategy is to reassure people and bring them back to sanity and back to the center. I think that is the best strategy,” she said to host Sean Hannity.
In June, Michaels slammed Dr. Anthony Fauci‘s testimony before Congress by stating on X, “How is Trump going to jail, but [Fauci] isn’t?”

Michaels spoke out in February about leaving her home state of California because of Gov. Gavin Newsom’s (D-CA) “crazy” policies that led to a repeat criminal offender breaking into her home while carrying “duct tape and a video camera.”
She also has been outspoken about “simple biological truths” about biological men invading women’s sports.
