Garden Veggie Straws® Announces a New Ingredient
According to a press release received by Parade magazine, the company behind the iconic snacks is ready to embrace “a new era of snacking” by adding a special new ingredient. That new taste? Fans of the snack may (or may not) recognize the change that is brought about thanks to the addition of olive oil.
“Garden Veggie Straws® and Garden Veggie™ Puffs are now made with avocado oil, dialing up flavor and crunch while staying true to the brand’s trusted promise of no artificial flavors, no artificial preservatives, and only colors from natural sources,” the press release reads.
Some of the additional new changes coming to a package of Garden Veggie Straws® and Garden Veggie™ Puffs near you include the addition of a new fourth straw. “Sweet potato joins the classic trio of green, yellow, and orange Veggie Straws®.”
