Green Bay area high school sports results for Friday, Oct. 10

West De Pere rallied from a 17-point deficit to defeat Bay Port 48-45 in a key conference football game.
Quarterback Patrick Greisen threw for 471 yards and seven touchdowns to lead West De Pere’s comeback victory.
In other football action, Pulaski, De Pere, Crivitz, Oconto Falls, and Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas also secured wins.
Luxemburg-Casco’s boys team and Kiel’s girls team won their respective divisions at the Russ Fameree Classic cross-country meet.

West De Pere 48, Bay Port 45
WEST DE PERE – The Phantoms rallied from 17 points down to earn at least a share of the Fox River Classic Conference-North championship. West De Pere moves to 6-0 in league play, while Bay Port falls to 5-1 with one week left in the regular season.
The Phantoms trailed 45-28 in the fourth quarter but were able to recover two of the game’s three successful onside kicks.
Quarterback Patrick Greisen completed 31 of 45 passes for 471 yards and seven touchdowns to power West De Pere.
Brady Moon helped power the Bay Port attack with 24 carries for 157 yards and two touchdowns, while Matt Stevens rushed 20 times for 119 yards and two touchdowns.
Stevens also completed 14 of 18 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns.

APPLETON – The Redbirds evened their overall record at 4-4 with the Fox River Classic Conference-North win over the Terrors.
Caden Schampers rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries.
De Pere finished with 214 rushing yards and took advantage of four Appleton West turnovers, intercepting two passes and recovering two fumbles.
Pulaski 63, Green Bay Preble 35
GREEN BAY – The Red Raiders piled up 581 total yards of offense as they pulled away in the second half for the Fox River Classic Conference-North win.
Bohdan Schmidt was the workhorse for Pulaski, carrying 15 times for 260 yards and four touchdowns.
Anthony Ficarri added 10 carries for 193 yards and three touchdowns.
Pulaski grabbed a 21-6 lead after one quarter and led 42-28 at intermission.

Crivitz rolled up 341 total yards, while limiting Clintonville to 77.
Brody MacNeil powered the Wolverines’ ground attack, carrying 11 times for 148 yards and two touchdowns, while returning one kickoff 95 yards for another score.
Brayden Sellen added three touchdowns on a pass reception, interception return and a punt return.
Zachery Johnson led the Truckers with nine carries for 32 yards.

FISH CREEK – The Wildcats started fast, building a 24-0 lead after one quarter before upping that margin to 30-0 by intermission en route to the Across The Bay Conference win in 8-player football action.

Giovanni Mercier connected with Jake Larson for a 16-yard touchdown pass for Gibraltar’s only points.
