Divine Savior Holy Angels leads Division 1 after the first round of the WIAA State Girls Golf Championship.
Payton Haugen of Brookfield East is the individual leader in Division 1 with a 5-under-par 67.
In Division 2, Edgerton holds the top team spot, while Seymour is in fifth place.
The Oconto Falls girls volleyball team won its home invitational with an undefeated 5-0 record.

WIAA State Championship
MADISON – Bay Port is in sixth place and Hortonville is in ninth place in Division 1 after the first round of the state tournament at University Ridge Golf Course.
Divine Savior Holy Angels, which is seeking its third consecutive state title, leads after round one with a 317 team total, six shots ahead of Brookfield East. Bay Port shot 341 and Hortonville shot 367.
Payton Haugen of Brookfield East shot a 5-under-par 67 and is the individual leader by four shots over Emma Cunningham of Green Bay United and McKenna Nelson of Beaver Dam.
Madelyn Gicius led Bay Port with a 79 and is tied for 13th place.
Paige Clausen led Hortonville with an 88 and is tied for 40th place.
Seymour is in fifth place in the team standings in Division 2. The Thunder shot a 374 team total. Edgerton leads the Division 2 team standings after shooting 345.
Morgan Lewis shot an 85 and is tied for 10th place to lead Seymour players.

Oconto Falls Invite (Saturday)
OCONTO FALLS – The host Panthers finished with a 5-0 record to take first place at their tournament.
Oconto Falls beat Bonduel 25-11, 25-17, NEW Lutheran 25-21, 25-23 and Kewaunee 25-14, 25-15 in pool play.
The Panthers beat Chilton 25-16, 25-12 and then beat Freedom 25-23, 25-18 in the championship match.
Izzy Otto had 90 assists, 24 digs, nine kills and seven aces for Oconto Falls. Rhiana Van De Yacht had 20 kills and 25 digs, Calli Bursa added 19 digs and 20 digs, Lucy Ripley had 41 kills and five aces, and Rylie Shallow had 37 digs.
NEW Lutheran finished with a 2-3 record.
The Blazers beat Kewaunee 28-26, 25-20, lost to Oconto Falls and beat Bonduel 25-20, 20-25, 15-10 in pool play. In gold bracket play, Freedom beat NEW Lutheran 25-13, 25-16 and Chilton beat the Blazers 25-17, 20-25, 16-14.
Sydney Steffel had 33 kills, six aces and 42 digs for NEW Lutheran. Kiley Dhein had 26 kills, seven aces and 59 digs. Olivia Kirchner added 99 assists and 18 digs, and Paige Loock had 18 kills and seven blocks.
