How Nutrition Can Help With Down Syndrome: An Expert’s View

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – On Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) approved the South Carolina Department of Education’s request for assistance in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
The request helps provide flexibilities in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program, and NSLP Seamless Summer Option throughout the State of South Carolina. The waivers are effective immediately through October 14, 2024.
The waivers for the institutions include waiver of meal pattern requirements.
