Halloween week has only just begun, yet country star Kane Brown may have just claimed the title for best costume.
When your birthday lands on October 21, a Halloween-themed birthday party is pretty much a given. For Kane, it’s become an annual tradition, with the event organized by his wife, KatelynBrown.

Kane revealed his spooky season transformation into Papa Smurf on social media, boasting a light blue skin-tight shirt that highlighted all the hours he’s put into his workout routine at the gym.
He paired it with red track pants, sneakers, and a red hat, completing the nearly-unrecognizable look with all the details, including blue face paint and bushy white eyebrows and beard.
And even in costume, the 32-year-old managed to squeeze in a gym session before the festivities, fittingly calling his workout, “PAPA SMURF UPS 👀.”
Taylor Lautner popped into the comments, writing, “Internet is a crazy place.”
“I don’t recall Papa Smurf having such a great physique!! 😂😂” someone else joked, as another chimed in, “the eyebrows add an extra 2 lbs.”
“And you said your intensity was low for a couple weeks,” someone called out the star.
Fans were impressed with the costume choice, with one noting, “Absolutely love Papa Smurf costume 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃.”

On Instagram, Katelyn, who dressed as Austin Powers, gave fans a look inside the extravagant party, and it’s safe to say that she’s outdone herself once again.
“when the planning is over and it was a success 🍾” she captioned the video, which revealed she didn’t miss a detail when it came to spooky elements, over-the-top decor and even a pitch black cake to honor the man of the hour.
It’s unclear what Halloween costumes the Brown family as a whole will settle on this year, though choices from previous years prove promising. One year, they dressed up as skeletons, with the year prior boasting a Disney-theme, with dad as Pluto, mom as Donald Duck and their two daughters, Kodi Jane and Kinglsey Rose, as Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck.
Kane previously opened up about his fitness journey that started this past April, with the “Miles on It” singer showcasing his physical transformation in side-by-side photos throughout the months.
“I lost 20 pounds,” Brown confessed to Lon Helton while co-hosting Country Countdown USA in June.
