Local businesses and celebrity join forces for Staten Island preschool toy drive

STATEN ISLAND, NY — Assemblyman Charles D. Fall joined a community-wide effort that collected enough toys to reach every child at Silver Lake Preschool and Nursery in Clifton.
The toy drive gathered gifts for all 111 students at the school through contributions from local families, donors across Staten Island, and supporters from outside the borough. Staten Island resident Isabella Mazzaro led the initiative with support from Transformation Fitness.
Brian “Q” Quinn of the television show Impractical Jokers helped expand the reach of the campaign by promoting it to a national audience, which boosted donations and ensured every child received a gift.
“I’m moved by the generosity shown through this toy drive. Transformation Fitness and everyone who contributed made these children feel seen and supported,” Fall said. “I’m thankful our office could share in that joy, and I look forward to building even more moments of kindness in our community.”
Mazzaro credited the collaborative effort for the drive’s success.
“I’m so incredibly grateful for every single person who donated to our toy drive, from Staten Island and beyond. With the support of our Transformation Fitness family and Assemblyman Charles Fall, we were able to bring holiday joy to 111 children,” Mazzaro said. “I’m especially thankful to my friend Brian ‘Q’ Quinn from Impractical Jokers for helping spread the word nationally and making this fundraiser such a success. I can’t wait for the next one.
