EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – Even though the weather is warming up, there’s still just enough snow on the grounds to keep winter and even some spring activities in action at Rock Falls Raceway.
Friday and Saturday’s events varying from snowmobile and UTV races, barrel racing and truck tug of war.
Adding to the racing fun were two snowmobile riders who have friends and racers for 21 years.
Derick Krug is a snowmobile racer, who said “We can be friends off the tracks, but on the track it’s race time.”
His long-time friend Dalton Johnson said “Coming out and having a good time, it’s all about the fun and we can do some racing, that’s cool too. Thankfully they put the event on with the winters we’ve been having.”
This two-day extravaganza brought families and friends together for some late-winter fun, and many people attending hope that it continues next year.
