Raiders’ Brock Bowers Gets Devastating Injury Update from Sports Doctor

Tight end Brock Bowers is a major focal point of the Las Vegas Raiders offense, so when he practiced on Wednesday then was held out of practice on Thursday and Friday, it raised some red flags.
Bowers was seen on the sidelines on Friday with a sleeve on his injured knee, and it’s been speculated he will mis Sunday’s matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
While not much is known about the severity of Bowers’ injury, he gave a somewhat cryptic update on himself after Friday’s practice, stating he’s not allowed to share specifics of his injury.
“I want to be back to going full speed, being able to separate from guys. I feel like I can’t really do that to the best of my abilities right now,” Bowers said, via ESPN’s Ryan McFadden.
The 22-year-old TE’s comments seem to paint a grim picture about where he stands health-wise.

If Bowers’ personal update wasn’t concerning enough, well-known sports medicine physician and Injury Expertz CEO Jesse Morse made a brutal injury prediction about how long Bowers could potentially be out that likely has Raiders fans quite nervous.
“Back to back DNPs. My guess is that Brock Bowers suffered a setback, a reinjury, in his left knee. He has been dealing with a PCL sprain,” Morse wrote on X.
“I expect him to be OUT Week 5. Depending on how his knee does, there’s a chance they could hold him out for 2 more games and allow him to rest through their Week 8 bye.”
Vegas has the 14th-ranked passing offense in the league (215.3 yards per game), and losing Bowers, who has 19 receptions, 27 targets, and 225 yards through four games this season, for multiple games would be a tough blow to overcome.
Aside from Bowers, receivers Jakobi Meyers (21) and Tre Tucker (15) are the only pass-catchers on the team with more than five receptions.
