Sentencing Postponed For Fairfield Man In $7.8M Health Care Fraud Case

FAIRFIELD, CT — The sentencing of Jesse Foote, a Fairfield man who pleaded guilty last year in connection with a $7.8 million federal health care fraud case , has been postponed to the spring, according to authorities.
Foote was scheduled to be sentenced in January, but that is now scheduled for May 15 in federal court in Newark, New Jersey. Patch reached out to federal authorities for more information, but the reason for the postponement was not disclosed.
This past August, Foote pleaded guilty to a two-count information charging him with conspiracy to violate the Federal Anti-Kickback statute, and conspiracy to commit health care fraud.
