Walerboro man reported missing by family after leaving hospital a week ago

WALTERBORO, S.C. (WCSC) – The Walterboro Police Department is searching for a man with medical issues who disappeared after his release from a hospital more than a week ago.
Tommie Bowman was reported missing by his sister, police said on Facebook. She told police she has not seen him since Feb. 28, but police learned he had been taken to an area hospital on March 3 and released that same day.
No one has heard from him since, police say.

He stands approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs 220 pounds, and has several medical conditions including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and a heart condition.
Police believe he may be in danger and that his medical issues may affect his ability to seek help or support.
