Dane Co. Medical Examiner names construction worker who died after fall

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Dane County officials identified the construction worker who died after a fall at a DeForest site as a La Crosse man.
Robert Snodgrass Jr., 23, was pronounced dead Thursday, Jan. 9, after the incident in the 6000 block of Pepsi Way, the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office said on Wednesday.
The agency completed a forensic examination on Jan. 10. Officials said the cause and manner of death for Snodgrass are still being investigated.
DeForest Police Dept. reported responding to the scene, which is the site of the Kwik Trip distribution center project, just after 4 p.m. for a worker who fell off a roof. Police and medical personnel attempted to save the man’s life. He was later pronounced dead.
The DeForest Police Department, OSHA and Dane Co. Medical Examiner’s Office continues to investigate his death.
