Fox’s medical drama Doc returned for a second season, starring Molly Parker as Dr. Amy Larsen, the chief of internal medicine at the fictional Westside Hospital.
The series revolves around Dr. Amy Larsen struggling to resume her medical career and build a new life after suffering a traumatic brain injury due to a car accident, where she lost her memory of the last eight years.
Doc also stars Omar Metwally as Dr. Michael Hamda, Jon Ecker as Dr. Jake Heller, Amirah Vann as Dr. Gina Walker, and Anya Banerjee as Dr. Sonya Maitra.

Season 2 of the series added Felicity Huffman as Dr. Joan Ridley, with Patrick Walker (Dr. Sonya Maitra) and Charlotte Fountain-Jardim (Katia Hamda) being upped to series regulars after being recurring on the first season.
Other recurring actors include Scott Wolf as Dr. Richard Miller, Sarah Allen as Nora, and Emma Pfitzer Price as Hannah.

Doc is co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and Fox Entertainment Studios. Barbie Kligman serves as showrunner and executive producer. Hank Steinberg, Erwin Stoff, and Judith McCreary are executive producers. Doc is based on the globally acclaimed Italian series, Doc — Nelle tue mani, which was created and is produced by Lux Vide, a Fremantle Company.
