Benoy had the lone goal in the Huskies’ 1-0 win over Reed in soccer on Monday, Sept. 29.
Brayan Caldera, senior, Wooster
Caldera had a goal and two assists in the Colts’ 3-2 win over Carson in soccer on Saturday, Oct. 4.
Justin Gonzalez, senior, Carson
Gonzalez rushed two times for 92 yards and two touchdowns in the Senators’ 49-6 win over Hug in football on Friday, Oct. 3. He was in on four tackles in defense.
Zach Jackson, senior, Douglas
Jackson scored five touchdowns in the Tigers’ 48-46 loss to Bishop Manogue on Friday, Oct. 3.
Brady Hummel, senior, Spanish Springs
Hummel had four catches for 100 yards and two touchdowns and also ran once for 41 yards and had a 91-yard interception return (231 total yards) in the Cougars’ 49-6 win over Damonte Ranch in football on Friday, Oct. 3.
Rylan Lauter, junior, Truckee
Lauter rushed six times for 109 yards and one touchdown in the Wolverines’ 20-14 win over Elko in football on Friday, Oct. 3. On defense, he was in on nine tackles.
Dylan McCann, junior, Reno
McCann caught three passes for 110 yards and a touchdown in the Huskies’ 56-0 win over Wooster in football on Friday, Oct. 3.
McCoy McCarter, junior, Spring Creek
McCarter rushed 20 times for 174 yards and three toucdowns in the Spartans’ 42-0 win over Lowry in football on Friday, Oct. 3. He was 3-of-6 passing for 69 yards and a TD.
Nathan Powell, senior, North Tahoe
Powell rushed 24 times for 109 yards and two touchdowns in the Lakers’ 26-6 win over West Wendover in football on Friday, Oct. 3.
Shaysan Rivero, senior, Reed
Rivero rushed seven times for 91 yards and three touchdowns in the Raiders’ 50-13 win over Galena in football on Friday, Oct. 3. He also caught a pass for 24 yards, had 27 yards in kickoff returns and was in on eght tackles on defense.
Trenton Rhodes, senior, Pershing County
Rhodes caught five passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns in the Mustangs’ 46-0 win over Incline in football on Friday, Oct. 3. He also had 61 yards in punt returns.
Nason Rodriguez, senior, McQueen
Rodriguez rushed five times for 110 yards and two touchdowns in the Lancers’ 51-6 win over North Valleys in football on Friday, Oct. 3.
Kiefer Willcox, senior, Truckee
Willcox won the inaugural Leo Mikelonis cross country race on Saturday, Oct. 4 at Golden Eagle in 15 minutes, 26 seconds.
