Massachusetts high school sports highlights from Nov. 13

The field hockey finals are set, and the boys’ and girls’ soccer semifinals are cemented.
The Concord-Carlisle and Belmont girls’ soccer teams provided the night’s biggest stunners. The 10th-seeded Patriots rode a goal from Ainsley Seifert — her second winner in as many games since returning from a foot injury that cost her the entire regular season — past No. 2 Bishop Feehan, which was coming off a title-game appearance in 2024.
Not to be outdone the Marauders stunned top-seeded Needham, 4-2, as the top two seeds exited the Division 1 girls’ soccer tournament on the same night.
Also pulling off quarterfinal upsets were the sixth-seeded Littleton girls, who topped No. 3 South Hadley, 2-1, in Division 4, and the sixth-seeded Keefe Tech boys, who beat No. 3 St. John Paul II, 2-0, in D5.
