Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has completed his tour of all 62 New York counties for the 27th year in a row.
Schumer made his final stop in Columbia County Dec. 15 where he pushed for legislation to help dairy farmers across upstate New York and boost nutrition in schools.
Senator’s pledge to visit every county began in 1998
His pledge to visit every county in New York every year started during his first senate election. He is the first New York public official to start a tour of every county in the state.
