Stefon Diggs is usually in the news for catches, routes and big moments on Sunday nights. This week, it was something quieter that stood out. Ahead of the Patriots’ Week 16 trip to Baltimore, Diggs helped host a holiday wellness event at Gillette Stadium that focused on moms, families and taking a breath during a long season.
Cardi B was right there with him. No spotlight chasing. No big production. Just support. With the NFL season wearing players down and the holidays adding extra stress, the moment felt real. It was not about football at all, which somehow made it say more about the kind of veteran Diggs has become.
A Different Kind of Night at Gillette
The event took place inside Gillette Stadium during a Patriots family gathering in partnership with Diggs Deep Foundation. Yoga mats replaced cleats. The music was low. Kids and moms filled the space where fans usually sit on Sundays.
Stefon Diggs explained that the idea came from personal experience. A single mother raised him and now is a father of three himself. The goal was simple. Give moms a night where they did not have to rush, plan or take care of everyone else.
It was not flashy. That was the point. Now, before a big Week 16 game, he is back in the news.
Cardi B Was All In
Cardi B joined the yoga session alongside local moms, sitting on the floor and following along like everyone else. The couple welcomed their first child together last month, which added another layer to why the night mattered.
Video from the event showed them smiling, laughing and leaning into the moment. No cameras in faces. No scripted feel. Just two people enjoying a calm night together. For a couple used to constant attention, it felt refreshingly normal.
Diggs’ Role in New England
On the field, Diggs is still very much locked in. In his first season with the New England Patriots, the 32-year-old has been reliable and steady. He has 67 catches for 731 yards and three touchdowns, helping anchor an offense that has stayed near the top of the AFC.
Last week against Buffalo, Diggs caught three passes for 26 yards in a tough 35-31 loss. Not a huge stat line, but the Patriots remain in first place of the division ranking at 11-3.
