Appleton and Green Bay high school sports results for Saturday, Sept. 20

Fox Valley Lutheran, Oconto Falls, and St. Mary Catholic won their respective girls volleyball invitationals.
Kimberly’s boys volleyball team finished first at the Dave Hash Invite with an undefeated 5-0 record.
In boys soccer, Kimberly defeated Kingsford, Mich., in a nonconference game.
Multiple cross-country invitationals took place, with Hortonville’s girls team and boys team securing wins at the New London Bulldog Invite.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Fox Valley Lutheran Invite
APPLETON – Fox Valley Lutheran had a 5-0 record and took first place at its own tournament.
In pool play, the Foxes beat Green Bay Southwest 25-7, 25-8, beat Waupaca 25-20, 25-21 and beat Weyauwega-Fremont 25-14, 25-23.
In bracket play, FVL defeated Wrightstown 25-17, 26-24 and then beat Sheboygan Christian in the championship match 25-18, 25-12.
Kenzie Loberger had 13 kills, five aces, 44 assists and 31 digs for the Foxes. Riley Schmitz had 34 digs and 11 aces, Brianna Stewart had 22 kills and seven blocks, Alaina Patchett had 20 kills and Brianna Dahlke had 19 kills.
Charger Challenge
MENOMONEE FALLS – Xavier finished with a 4-3 record to take 10th place at the 32-team tournament at the Milwaukee Sting Center.
The Hawks beat Franklin 2-1, Mukwonago 2-0, Sauk Prairie 2-0 and Luxemburg-Casco 2-1. The Hawks lost to Slinger 2-0, Divine Savior Holy Angels 2-1 and Oconomowoc 2-0.
Sydney Neilitz had 120 assists and 10 aces for Xavier. Lexi Allen had 33 kills and nine blocks, Rose Kendall had 33 kills and seven blocks, and Allie Gioffredi had 22 kills and 12 blocks.
Other leaders for Xavier were Braelee Kiepert with 27 kills, Lily Renz with 11 aces, Grace Hackl with 58 digs, Bella Velasquez with 33 digs, Bella Daley with 25 kills and Taelyn Kiepert with seven aces.
Kimberly had a 3-2 record. The Papermakers beat Sheboygan Falls 2-0, Cedarburg 2-0 and Slinger 2-0. Divine Savior Holy Angels beat Kimberly 2-0 and Arrowhead beat the Papermakers 2-1.
Bri Hagglund had 27 kills and 29 digs. Natalie Weyenberg added 23 kills, Finley Van Lannen had 52 digs, Emma Tesch had 52 assists and Ava Van Hammond had 38 assists.
Luxemburg-Casco tied for 11th place with a 3-3 record. The Spartans beat Kettle Moraine Lutheran 2-0 and McFarland 2-0 and lost to Waukesha West 2-0 in pool play.
Menomonee Falls beat the Spartans 2-0, then Luxemburg-Casco beat Burlington 2-1 before losing to Xavier 2-1 in the semifinals.
Alayna Deprez had 111 assists, 41 digs and 15 kills. Aubrey Frey had 71 kills, 54 digs and 10 aces, Claire Schleis had 37 kills and nine aces, and Rylan Kaminski had 55 digs.
Pulaski Invitational
PULASKI – Oconto Falls went 5-0 to win the tournament title.
Oconto Falls defeated Bonduel 25-9, 25-16, NEW Lutheran 25-14, 25-16 and Seymour 25-18, 25-18 in pool play. Oconto Falls then beat Pulaski 25-22, 25-16 and Kiel 25-12, 25-18 in the gold bracket.
Izzy Otto had 53 assists, 25 digs and 13 aces for the Panthers. Rylie Shallow had 48 digs and seven aces, Lucy Ripley had 52 kills, 15 digs and nine aces, and Calli Bursa had 18 kills and 31 digs.
NEW Lutheran had a 3-2 record and finished in third place. The Blazers beat Seymour 2-0 and Bonduel 2-1 in pool play and lost to Oconto Falls.
In gold bracket play, the Blazers lost to Kiel 2-0 before sweeping Pulaski 2-0.
Sydney Steffel had 31 digs for NEW Lutheran, including her 1,000th career dig. She added 11 kills.
Kiley Dhein had 21 kills, 39 digs and six aces. Kiera Adams-McIntosh had 22 kills and six aces, Olivia Kirchner had 73 assists and 27 digs, and Jaden Schmidt had 37 digs.
Trucker Invitational
CLINTONVILLE – St. Mary Catholic took first place, finishing the day with a 4-1 record.
The Zephyrs defeated Laona/Wabeno 25-20, 25-20 in the finals. In the semifinal match, the Zephyrs defeated Iola-Scandinavia 25-22, 25-21.
SMC went 2-1 in pool play. Valders beat the Zephyrs 20-25, 26-24, 15-9. SMC beat Shawano 25-27, 26-24, 15-11 and beat Southern Door 25-21, 25-12.
Leaders for the Zephyrs were Luci Nackers with 25 kills and 33 digs, Autumn Crowe with 23 kills and 27 digs, Adele Brennen with 19 kills, Bitsy McCauley with 45 digs, Sammi Weiss with 46 assists and Ana Emenecker with 22 assists.

Dave Hash Invite
KAUKAUNA – Kimberly took first place at the 16-team tournament after finishing with a 5-0 record.
The Papermakers beat Beloit Memorial 2-1, Wilmot 2-0, Sun Prairie United 2-0, Kaukauna 2-1 and Franklin 2-1.
Alex Krause had 45 kills, nine aces and 42 digs for Kimberly. Blake Zielinski had 82 assists, eight blocks and five aces. Other leaders for the Papermakers were Cooper Baade with 14 kills and seven blocks, Peter Van Grinsven with 17 kills and 10 digs, Ian Van Hammond with 30 digs and three aces, Will Weyenberg with four kills and four blocks, Wade Gloudemans with 15 kills and Noah Xiong with 13 digs.
BOYS SOCCER
Kimberly 3, Kingsford, Mich. 1 (Friday)
KIMBERLY – The Papermakers outshot Kingsford 15-6 in the nonconference victory.
Owen Weidert and Liam Paradiso scored goals in the first half for Kimberly. Jonah Trader scored in the second half. Trader and Andrew Leskowicz had assists for the Papermakers.
Kimberly goalie Dracen Brey made five saves.
