Editor picks: 9 products our shopping team tested and loved in February

Another month has come to pass and boy was it jam-packed. It had everything: a record-breaking snowstorm, a Bad-Bunny helmed Super Bowl halftime show and for our shopping team, tons of new product discoveries.
Each month, our team rounds up countless deals and covers every sale imaginable. Alongside this, we’re constantly testing out new products to make sure we only recommend what’s truly worth your money.
Below, you’ll see just what we shopped this February, featuring everything from must-have fitness gear to cold-weather must-haves to even “the world’s most innovative nail-clipper.”
A quick look at our favorite products of February

Garmin Lily 2 Active
Ana here, the team’s manager, and I just broke up with my Fitbit after 11 years. After polling TikTok for a fitness tracker recommendation, the consensus was unanimous – I needed to get a Garmin. So, I was sent the Garmin Lily 2 Active and after a full month of using it, I can understand why everyone loves Garmin.
I really like the aesthetic of this particular model because it looks like a watch and has a thin, sleek band. It is easy to use, has smartphone notifications and even gives me health reminders I never had with Fitbit (like taking it easy after a lot of activity or monitoring my stress levels after a stressful event). I’ll be writing a full review and posting a video later this month on TikTok!
Buy: $279, instead of $300, at Amazon
Naturium Glow Getter Multi-Oil Hydrating Body Wash
I got the Naturium Glow Getter Body Wash and am going to be so honest, I did not want to like this product because I already have so many body care products. It lives up to the hype. I understand why people talk about it all the time. It smells incredible, it goes on smooth like butter and my skin does feel hydrated after I use it.
I’ve had it for over two months now; I go through this faster than my regular Dove body wash, but I still haven’t finished the first bottle yet, so it lasts longer than I expected. For the softest skin I’ve ever had, I pair this body wash with Naturium’s Bio-Lipid Restoring Body Lotion. The brand sells both in a combo pack if you want to get a discount on both!
Buy: $17 at Naturium, $17 at Amazon
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Tahitian Vanilla Body Lotion
Hi, I’m Sarah, one of the team’s associate editors! Earlier this month, I realized that my usual winter bodycare picks weren’t cutting it anymore (this winter is testing us all in so many ways). So, on a recent trip to the drugstore, I made an effort to pick up a few new products and unexpectedly walked away with a new bodycare routine I can’t stop talking about. The star of the show? Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Tahitian Vanilla Body Lotion
Growing up, I was a Palmer’s girl, so I figured a bottle of the brand’s classic cocoa butter lotion would pair perfectly with the new body wash I was also picking up. I’m a sucker for anything vanilla, but believe me when I say this lotion is truly that girl. It (somehow?) elevates the classic lotion thanks to its rich blend of vanilla, making it smell like something with a much higher price tag.
Buy: $7 at Amazon
EDJY Fingernail Cutter
Another find I loved in February was the EDJY Fingernail Cutter. After seeing it all over TikTok, boasting its ability to catch clippings and deliver the cleanest, snag-free cut around, I had to see if it was the real deal. Spoiler alert: It is.
This nail cutter truly lives up to the hype. No snags, no stray clippings and best of all, it’s a breeze to clean. They say you can’t reinvent the wheel, but this might be the closest thing I’ve come to it.
Buy: $18 at Amazon
K-Swiss Hypercourt Express 2 Sneakers
Hi, I’m Dawn, one of the team’s shopping and deals writers! If you’ve been following along, I’m a bit of a sneaker aficionado. I have a hard time walking away from a fresh pair of shoes and when they bring some nostalgia, I’m all in. While not the K-Swiss I remember from high school, the K-Swiss Hypercourt Express 2 sneaker kicks it up a notch with a modernized look.
Beyond good memories, these sneakers have some standout features. The OrthoLite foam eliminates sweaty feet and there’s no break-in period as they’re comfortable to wear right out of the box. They’re also lightweight, so you don’t even know you have them on and their durable design keeps them looking like new.
I’ll admit, I haven’t worn K-Swiss in a long time, but I’m a convert now. I promise you’ll love them on your feet as much as I did back then and do now.
Buy: $130 at K-Swiss
Puffer Hug SherPuff Scarf
Everyone likes a hug and I found a way to give myself one every day. The Puffer Hug SherPuff Scarf is a cozy hug that keeps you warm and feels good, too.
With one side a sleek quilted nylon and the other side a plush faux sherpa, you can wrap this scarf around you using its pull-through design to keep it snug. It’s also reversible, so you can choose which side to show off.
I got mine in Black and it’s versatile enough to wear with most anything. Plus, with the freezing winter temperatures, you can’t go wrong with a soft hug from this scarf to keep warm when you’re outside.
Buy: $72, instead of $80, at Puffer Hug
Creativity for Kids Gem Diamond Painting Kit: Magical
Hi, it’s Danielle, another shopping & deals writer! My 6-year-old daughter is craft-obsessed. Given how cold the last month has been, we’ve spent so much time inside; I am so happy we had a sufficient amount of these Creativity for Kids gem art kits for her to plow through. This is one of my favorite brands and, over the years, Mykhaila has worked through so many of their bestsellers (terrariums, sensory kits/bins, rock painting and sand art), but she fell in love with the unicorn sun catcher from this Gem Diamond Painting Kit and worked on it, meticulously, for what seemed like forever on a lazy Saturday afternoon.
For parents who need a screen-free activity to keep the kiddos busy, everything they need is right in the box — from the kid‑friendly stylus to the oversized diamond dots and self‑adhesive pieces. The projects come together easily and mess‑free, so young crafters (ages 3+) and intermediate DIY-ers like my kindergartner can work independently and feel proud of what they’ve created.
Buy: $15 at Amazon
Colleen Rothschild Ritual Body Bundle
Hi, I’m Amanda, another writer on the team! My hands turn perpetually dry as soon as the first snow falls and I’ve tried so many lotions and potions over the years to remedy this. Thankfully, a sleeper hit by Colleen Rothschild is my new one-and-done.
The Ritual Body Bundle, currently on sale for $69, includes a plush body cream, the Ritual Body Moisturizer, which is rich in texture without being sticky, and an airy, fast-absorbing oil, The Ritual Body Oil, that makes the ultimate top later.
I started using the bundle on my hands in January to really lock in moisture and I’m blown away by the lack of cracks, cuts and dryness that usually adorn my hands in below-freezing weather. Plus, it’s an all-over body duo, so slather away to your heart’s content.
Buy: $69, instead of $100 at Colleen Rothschild
Colleen Rothschild Matcha Tea Treatment Toner
Hi, I’m Nicole, another writer on the team! I took a break from this toner earlier this year because I had a few others I wanted to try out and finish. Let me tell you, I was missing this product so much, and I am so happy to be using it again.
The Matcha Tea Treatment Toner is not too harsh on the skin and is truly all-around hydrating and nourishing. Plus, it truly works wonders at clearing up acne and removing impurities from the skin, if you’re acne-prone like me.
Buy: $32 at Colleen Rothschild
