Green Bay area high school sports results for Friday, Feb. 20

Notre Dame, De Pere and Green Bay Preble secured wins in boys Fox River Classic Conference basketball matchups.
The Seymour and Kewaunee boys basketball teams both remained undefeated with recent victories.
In boys hockey, De Pere defeated Fond du Lac to advance to the Division 1 sectional semifinals.
Sectional champions were crowned in girls wrestling at both the Waupaca and D.C. Everest sectionals.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Notre Dame 85, Bay Port 69
GREEN BAY – Leo Weber led a balanced scoring attack with 24 points as the Tritons built a four-point halftime lead before taking charge in the second half to earn the Fox River Classic Conference win.
Also scoring in double digits for Notre Dame were Austin Hendricks with 19 points, and A.J. Hendricks and Jack Warden both with 18 points.
AJ Ivy led Bay Port with 18 points, while Sawyer Durkee added 12 and Roman Binns 10.

MANITOWOC – Jack Bookter and Will Krueger both scored 15 points as the Redbirds broke open a close game in the second half to earn the Fox River Classic Conference win.
De Pere led by six at intermission before outscoring the Ships 37-23 over the final 18 minutes.
Manitowoc was led in scoring by Micah Kubsch with 15 points and Jack Bauer with 10.

GREEN BAY – Gavin Sullivan scored 18 points, and Sammie Kinard and Will Dornbush each scored 12 as Green Bay Preble beat Sheboygan North in overtime in a Fox River Classic Conference matchup.
The Golden Raiders led 29-21 at intermission, but the Hornets fought their way back to tie it at 57-57 to force overtime.
Sullivan scored five points in overtime and Kinard made all four free throws in overtime to lead Preble, which improves to 6-11 in the conference and 10-13 overall.
Sheboygan North was led by Rylan Buhr and Parion Palmer, both with 20 points.

WINNECONNE – The Thunder remains unbeaten with the narrow victory over the Wolves.
Seymour improves to 23-0 overall and 16-0 in the Bay Conference.
Drew Lenz led Winneconne with 24 points. Brody Schaffer added 19 points and Parker Ingles scored 17.
Wrightstown 68, Denmark 59
WRIGHTSTOWN – Caden Hagerstrom scored 16 points and Carter Kinnard added 15 as the Tigers made a seven-point halftime advantage stand up to earn the North Eastern Conference win.
Wrightstown led 32-25 at the break and kept the Vikings at bay the rest of the way.
David Dittmer and Jacob Bohn scored 12 points each and Jack Freitag added 11 to pace Denmark.

STURGEON BAY – The Storm moved to 22-0 on the season as it built an 11-point halftime advantage before pulling away for the Packerland Conference victory.
Diesel Bosdeck led the Kewaunee attack with 25 points. Also scoring in double figures for the Storm were Dane Harrell with 16 points, Connor Kilgore with 12 and Avery Jerabek with 10.
The Storm outscored the Clippers 48-22 in the final 18 minutes to seal the win.
Leading the way for Sturgeon Bay were Sam Fruzyna with 14 points and Ben Ash with 13.

Leading the Freedom attack was Breana Dickrell with 10 points.

DE PERE – The Voyageurs advance to the Division 1 sectional semifinals with the win over the Cardinals.
De Pere, which is 19-4-1, will face the Bay Area Storm (11-12-1) in a sectional semifinal on Feb. 24.
The teams traded goals in the first period with William Birkholz and Max Greenya scoring for De Pere and Brady Wehner and Peyton Umentum scoring for Fond du Lac.
The Voyageurs went ahead to stay at 9:03 of the second period on Greenya’s second goal of the game.
De Pere added three goals in the third period on two goals by Greenya and one by Kade Koszarek.
Austin Lee had four assists for De Pere, while Birkholz had two. Reid Sands, Greenya, Palmer Anderson, Dayne Wafle and Landon Smith each had one assist.
Collin Gamble had 26 saves in goal for Fond du Lac. Chase VandEven had 19 saves for De Pere.
Fond du Lac closes its season with a 9-16 record.
