Igor Tudor’s fitness update ahead of Fulham clash ft. Micky van de Ven’s ‘small toe’

Tottenham have been boosted by the return of two key defenders ahead of the trip to Fulham.
Igor Tudor has endured a nightmare start to his tenure as the Tottenham Hotspur interim boss, losing 4-1 to Arsenal in the North London derby.
The expectations were already low, but the manner in which Spurs got beaten by Mikel Arteta’s side have not gone down well in certain sections of the fanbase. A few pundits have also criticised Igor Tudor and his change in tune after the game.
Nonetheless, the Lilywhites will want to forget the Arsenal game as quickly as possible and concentrate on what is ahead for them. They will have seven days’ rest before returning to Premier League action against Fulham on Sunday.

Tottenham are still battling an injury crisis as they have several key players sidelined, but they received a double injury boost earlier this week when Pedro Porro and Kevin Danso were spotted in team training at Hotspur Way. And Tudor has confirmed both are fit to face Fulham.
“Yes, that’s right (Danso and Porro are back),” Tudor said in his pre-match press conference (h/t The Standard).
The Spurs boss also revealed Micky van de Ven has a “small problem” with his little finger, but the centre-back is fit for the trip to Craven Cottage.
“No other issues, small problem for Micky with his small toe. But he’s okay, he will be in [the squad],” he added.
The Croatian says he is unsure when Dejan Kulusevski will return from injury, having been sidelined since May 2025 with a patella injury.
“We hope so, in this moment we don’t know,” Tudor stated.
“I know him from Juventus. Fantastic player, fantastic guy. Difficult moment. He’s had really big problems, but he’s positive and also doctors are positive. So, we’ll see next week how it’s going.
“I don’t know (when Kulusevski or Destiny Udogie will be back). I don’t know. When they come, they come.”
When the two sides met in November, it was Fulham who claimed a 2-1 win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. So, revenge will be on the cards for Spurs, as Tudor hopes to see an improved display from the last weekend.
