Ahead of MVP’s women boxing card this Saturday, Jake Paul has upped the stakes for one of his fighters.
This coming Sunday, Most Valuable Promotions will host their first ever MVPW card, and their first since signing a partnership with Sky Sports.
The all-female card includes a double main event, one contested between Caroline Dubois and Terri Harper, with the WBC and WBO lightweight titles on the line.
And in the second main event, Ellie Scotney takes on Mayelli Flores for the undisputed super bantamweight titles.
Jake Paul promises to buy Scotney a car if she wins on Sunday
The 28-year-old has a flawless record heading into her clash against the Mexican on Sunday night, as she looks to unify the titles at 122lbs.
If she does successfully beat Flores, Scotney will make history by becoming Britain’s youngest ever undisputed champion of the four-belt era, male or female.
She would beat the likes of Lennox Lewis and Josh Taylor who have also completed the feat of undisputed status.
And before her clash, her promoter, Jake Paul, has upped the stakes for her fight, promising to buy her a car if she makes boxing history.
Prior to her fight, Scotney told Paul that she takes two trains, a tube and a bus to get to training which takes her over an hour as she doesn’t currently have a driver’s license.
“So you literally spend two hours a day commuting? How do you do that in camp?” Paul asked Scotney when he visited her in training.
