Tom Aspinall promises to ‘smash’ Ciryl Gane’s face after rival provides an update on his next fight

Tom Aspinall lashed out at his most recent opponent following a post on social media.
The medical updates that Aspinall has provided show that there’s still no timeframe for his return to the Octagon.
In October, his first defense of the undisputed UFC heavyweight title ended in the first round after he couldn’t continue due to being poked in both of his eyes.
While Aspinall has recently spoken about a potential move into boxing at some stage of his career, he’s made it clear that his health is his only priority right now.
However, a recent statement from the man he faced in the main event of UFC 321 prompted the Brit to remind people what his other goal is.
Tom Aspinall threatens Ciryl Gane in response to the Frenchman’s comments about not having a date
Tom Aspinall claims that Ciryl Gane intentionally cheated by trying to compromise his vision with eye pokes in the main event of UFC 321.
The heavyweight champion has always been a laid back and easy-going presence at the top of the sport, but things have changed after what he went through several months ago.
Aspinall, who wasn’t happy with Dana White’s comments about the fight, has claimed via his YouTube channel that there will be “no more ‘Mr. Nice Guy’” when he returns.
This was the case when he responded to Gane’s recent post on Instagram about his next fight.
The French contender shared photos of him training with fellow UFC heavyweight Tai Tuivasa, writing that he doesn’t have a date or opponent yet but is continuing to work hard in the gym.
