Alpha Fit Club expands in N.J. with new gym in Woodbridge

Alpha Fit Club has expanded its presence in New Jersey, opening a new gym that specializes in circuit training in Woodbridge.
The club held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Cloverleaf Center, located at 1004 St. Georges Ave. in the Avenel section of the township.
Woodbridge Mayor John E. McCormac was on hand for the celebration.
According to the company website, the fitness concept offers circuit-style workouts consisting of six stations that combine high-intensity cardio and total body strength training. The workouts are designed to accommodate and challenge every fitness level while keeping participants healthy and injury-free.
Classes are kept smaller than traditional group fitness classes and are led by coaches.
“Alpha Fit Club is a group fitness concept focused on helping you become the best version of yourself, in and out of the gym,” the company website says. “Our workouts, and our community, serve as a catalyst to becoming the person you were meant to be.”
The company emphasizes its community-focused approach. “The difference is in our WHY. Alpha Fit Club was created to bring out the best in one another,” the website states. “Simply put – we care. It’s the people within Alpha that make all the difference.”
The Woodbridge location joins 20 other Alpha Fit Club gyms across New Jersey, including locations in Basking Ridge, Bayonne, Belmar, Brick, Denville, Glen Rock, Jersey City, Livingston, Marlboro, Marlton, Morristown, Newark, Princeton, Red Bank, Short Hills, Verona, Wayne, West New York, Westfield and Westwood.
