The Erie Times-News, for the final time during District 10’s winter sports season, will compile a list of notable performances by its athletes.
These lists will resume in early April, when the district’s 2026 spring sports season is under way in full.
This week’s list of top performers are:
Boys basketball
Avery Collins, Erie First Christian: District 10’s No. 2 career scoring leader added 39 points to his total (2,406) during the Eagles’ 75-58 victory vs. Forbes Road in a PIAA Class 1A round-of-16 game at DuBois.
Girls basketball
Maya Jeckavitch, Wilmington: The Greyhounds’ point guard scored 16 points during their 68-48 round-of-16 win against Winchester Thurston in the PIAA’s Class 2A tournament.
Tori Harvey, Kennedy Catholic: The Golden Eagles, aided by her team-high 25 points, advanced to the PIAA 2A tournament’s quarterfinals via their 65-27 elimination of District 9 Keystone.
