Planet Fitness is opening a new gym in Hanson in October 2025. The facility will be located at 430 Liberty St., Suite 5, and will be the first Hanson location, according to a community announcement.
The Hanson club will be open from 4 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends. The gym will feature 16,659 square feet of space and will include a variety of equipment and amenities.
Members will have access to strength equipment, including free weights, strength machines and plate-loaded bench presses. The gym will also offer 47 pieces of cardio equipment and 73 pieces of strength equipment. Free fitness training will be included with all memberships.
Planet Fitness aims to provide a welcoming environment for all members. The gym will offer a hassle-free experience with brand-name equipment and flat-screen televisions. The Planet Fitness app, available to both members and non-members, will offer hundreds of on-demand digital exercises.
